"The (Other) Everyman" is a listing for fans of Canadian actor/musician Zachary Bennett.
In an interview she gave while doing a guest appearance on the TV series
Road to Avonlea (the project for which Zach is best known), actress Dianne Weist dubbed him as "a young Jimmy Stewart". To many people in the acting world, the late Jimmy Stewart was considered to be an "everyman"--someone who could play virtually any role yet was still very likeable. A fan has compared Zach to Tom Hanks, an actor whom some people think to be the present-day "everyman". The name of this fanlisting is derived from all this.

and why do you like the fella?
Part of it's that "everyman" thing I mentioned. Aside from that, I think he's super-talented and has the ability to rock any and every role he plays, or any song he writes and/or performs.
